as Nieves said, luck does NOT have anything to do with bod's.
It doesn't mean I don't wear full spined leather sets on all my mules, I
eat fish, and basically do everything except spin in circles, while
spitting.
One thing that CERTAINLY affects bod's is your skill lvl. I suggest 105 on
all serious craftsmen/bod getters

When they introduced powerscrollss, they said >100 would not affect BODs.

so 120 smithy only affects exceptional chance and increases the chance of
success when enhancing?

You have bad luck. So yes luck does play a part in getting good bods just
not the kind of luck you get from items.
I switched the npc I was getting smithing bods from and seem to be having
better luck so far.

The truth of it is that nobody actually knows if it does increase your
chances of enhancing or not... but I do see a lot of people looking for a
120 smith when they want stuff enhancing.

Interesting idea Chilli.. I'm pretty sure the GM's know the least about
game mechanics of anyone out there. You'd be better off asking the Amish.
There are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who understand binary and
those that don't.

Only way to get a proper answer is to ask on the uo.com boards... oh wait,
they closed them down. I guess you'll have to wait for one of the devs to
stop by the Stratics boards then.

I would say "Luck up"...couldnt hurt?
The prospective father-in-law asked, "Young man, can you support a
family?"
The surprised groom-to-be replied, "Well, no. I was just planning to
support
your daughter. The rest of you will have to fend for yourselves."

No. There was a post a few weeks ago where a few of us were testing the
luck w/ BODS idea. All evidence so far tells us that luck has no effect on
the quality of BOD you get.
Over 100 smithing doesn't affect enhancing???
Where did you find that information?
If this is true then Ancient Hammers would be almost worthless.
